General Information

The village of Moreton is surrounded by beautiful walking country and hosts the longest ford in Dorset, the grave of Lawrence of Arabia and St Nicholas Church with its Whistler-engraved windows. Moreton Tearooms is well-situated to refresh visitors to all these sites but is increasingly becoming a destination in its own right.

The olde worlde exterior belies light, airy rooms where we serve Coffees and Lunches as well as cakes and traditional cream teas. We have a large garden popular with people with dogs or children. Our menu includes something for everyone - from homemade fishfingers to twice-baked watercress souffle.
